Samir Golshan is an Iranian-American cinematographer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Iran, he began his journey in engineering but found his true passion in storytelling after becoming a refugee and moving to the U.S. His experience meeting people from diverse backgrounds during his immigration journey inspired him to tell stories of those whose voices often go unheard.

In the U.S., Samir studied filmmaking and discovered his craft for translating stories into compelling visuals. He worked his way up through various departments on set, gaining a deep understanding of the production process. Today, as a cinematographer, Samir is committed to finding new stories and bringing them to life with the hope of making a meaningful impact.
